Only in Ottawa...

...can you skate to class!

I've got class at Ottawa U on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and instead of paying ridiculous parking prices at Ottawa U, I usually drive to Carleton and take the shuttle bus over. Well today I still took the shuttle there....BUT David and I decided to strap on our skates and make the trek back to Carleton via the longest skating rink in the world. Pretty sweet. It was quite a workout seeing as we were skating against the -29 degree windchill, but the Beavertail at the end made it all worth it. Next week, I might try going both directions...although 2 Beavertails in one day would probably not be a good idea.
